    Champagne Dressing

No matter what kind of salad you're enjoying, champagne dressing adds the perfect finishing touch and ties all your salad ingredients together! It's tangy and sweet, and comes together in just a few minutes.

I have always loved topping a fresh salad with homemade vinaigrette dressings. Even when they were growing up and pickier than they are now, my kids would eat an entire salad with a good vinaigrette - especially this one!

That's how you know it's good! Give it a try and I promise it will become your new go-to salad dressing - you may even be tempted to lick the bowl clean.

After trying this recipe, you won't want to switch back to store-bought dressings again! They are no added ingredients, and it lasts a while in the fridge! Plus, you can easily substitute ingredients or add more honey or salt to your liking, so it's versatile enough to fit any salad.

    • If you notice your dressing separating when stored, that is completely normal! The vinegar and oil will separate after sitting for a while. Just give your dressing a good shake or mix before serving.
    • You can substitute honey for maple syrup, if needed.

    What is champagne vinegar?

Champagne vinegar is a dry white wine vinegar, made with the same grapes used to make champagne. Champagne vinegar is slightly milder in flavor compared to other white wine vinegar.

Champagne vinegar has very little trace amounts of alcohol left in the finished product, typically under 2%.

What is special about champagne vinegar?

Champagne vinegar has a delicate taste, lighter than other vinegar. It makes a sweet, light choice for using in vinaigrette dressing recipes.
