    Mustard Mayo Sauce

When asked if I'd like mayonnaise or mustard on a sandwich, my answer has almost always been: both! But until recently, I'd leave it at that and be satisfied. Now, I can't imagine it without two extra special ingredients that make this homemade sauce way better than any other.

Combining mayo and mustard with a little extra mix of Dijon and Worcestershire Sauce makes for an unforgettable condiment you will want with everything.

I love it on pork chop sandwiches, turkey and swiss sandwiches, burgers, and even crab cakes. It's delicious as a simple dipping sauce for chicken strips, french fries, onion rings, and more. Really - it's completely irresistible!

Once you try my mayonnaise and mustard sauce, I have a feeling you'll want to mix up a jar to have on hand any time you get the craving. I mix up a jar every week - and every week, it disappears as quickly as the last!

Tips for Making Mayo Mustard Sauce

    • Storing the sauce in the fridge for at least 30 minutes gives the best results and flavor. However, you can also enjoy it right away if you prefer.
    • Use mayo mustard sauce as a dip for your favorite appetizers, or spread it onto sandwiches and wraps, make it into salad dressings to drizzle, and more. It's very versatile!
    • Stone ground mustard can be used in place of Dijon, but has a grainier texture in addition to a more mild flavor, so Dijon is preferable for a smooth and less mild sauce.

    Mustard Mayo Sauce FAQ

Is mayo and mustard good together?

Mayo and mustard is a perfect combination of sharply flavored yellow mustard and mildly creamy mayonnaise - and it is delicious. By adding Dijon mustard and Worcestershire to the mix, extra layers of depth form for an unforgettable sauce combination.

What is mayo and mustard mixed called?

Mayo and mustard mixed together has no official name, although you may be familiar with Heinz bottled "Mayomust" sauce. Despite having no official name (unlike fry sauce), mayo and mustard is a popular combination for sandwich spreads and more.
