Easy Gravy Recipe FAQs
Brown gravy is made of a mixture of meat drippings or broth, and a thickener such as flour or cornstarch.
Meat drippings will add more flavor to any brown gravy recipe, but if you're using stock or broth in place of drippings, you can add in extra ingredients such as minced onions, garlic, and fresh herbs. For my brown gravy recipe, I use Worcestershire sauce to make it even more flavorful.
