Melt butter in the microwave in 30 second intervals, or in a saucepan on the stovetop.
½ cup unsalted butter
Add honey, brown sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper to a bowl, then add the butter.
1 cup honey, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 Tbsp. garlic powder, ½ Tbsp. freshly cracked black pepper
Mix until fully combined.

No matter what method you use, be sure to glaze both the outside of the ham and between each slice. It makes a huge difference in flavor and helps keep the ham moist!
There is no need to heat this glaze before using it. Simply mix together and use.
You can use this glaze on any ham - spiral cut hams, boneless ham, or bone-in ham all work well with it.
