Onion Gravy Recipe

This is a guaranteed family favorite for pairing with pork chops, chicken, mashed potatoes, and so much more!

You will need...

yellow onion garlic vegetable oil unsalted butter all-purpose flour chicken broth


It's amazing!

It is pure decadence, and once you taste the difference, you will want to make it this way every time!

Flour Bowl

Heat a skillet and add oil. Once hot, add onion and cook. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant.


Push the onions and garlic to the side of the pan. Add butter to the center and let it melt. 


Once it melts, mix in flour. Continue to stir until the mixture becomes golden.


Slowly add broth. Then, mix with the onions and garlic. Boil, then reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.


Once thickened to your liking, serve and enjoy! Try cooking pork chops in this gravy. It's delicious!
