What makes this gravy the best?
My recipe for sausage gravy is luscious and rich, with an irresistible buttery flavor and smooth texture.
– sage breakfast sausage – butter – all-purpose flour – maple syrup – milk – Chicago steak seasoning – garlic powder – salt and pepper – red pepper flakes
Set Instant Pot to saute mode and add ground breakfast sausage. Cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
Add butter to the sausage and mix it in until it melts completely.
Stir in all-purpose flour until fully mixed through and you can't see the flour anymore.
Slowly pour in milk, stirring frequently. Do this slowly so the milk does not curdle.
Add remaining ingredients and mix. Serve and enjoy!
