Truffle butter is an easy and elegant way to add a gourmet twist to your favorite steak, burger, pasta, or vegetable recipes. This is an easy truffle butter sauce using simple ingredients and coming together in under 5 minutes!

  • 1 medium-sized bowl
  • 1 mixing spoon or whisk


  • 8 ounces high-quality butter softened to room temperature; 16 tablespoons/2 sticks
  • 1 Tablespoon


  • Cut butter into large chunks and add to a medium mixing bowl with black truffle pate.

  • Mix well. Let rest or use immediately as desired. Store for up to 2 weeks in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

  • For this recipe, I suggest using a high quality butter as compared to cheaper options such as margarine. This will insure a delicious and velvety finish to your dish!
  • Make sure to use room temperature butter. If your butter is not soft enough to mix easily, place it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to help soften.
  • After your butter is made, you can roll it back into a log using wax paper. This will give you little "coins" you can cut off and place over beef, vegetables, or seafood to give it a nice finish.
  • If you have time to make truffle butter ahead of time (even a few hours ahead), the flavors will really infuse and give you the best results!
