- ¼ cup Light brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoon Rosemary chopped
- ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
- ⅛ teaspoon Ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
¼ cup Light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon Rosemary, ½ teaspoon Garlic powder, ⅛ teaspoon Ground cloves, 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar, 1 Tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Mix well, until fully dissolved, heating in 15 second intervals in the microwave until the sugar has melted.
Brush on to ham steaks and enjoy!
- This recipe is great with all sorts of warming spices! For extra flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon.
- Yellow mustard is not recommended for this recipe, but whole grain Dijon would work as well as smooth.
- If you can find it, Honeycup mustard is also fantastic in this recipe and adds a ton of flavor!
- Try to find fresh rosemary for this recipe. Fresh leaves will crisp up as the ham steaks cook and are extra delicious!
