Nothing adds an irresistible kick to a simple recipe like Sweet Chili Sauce! This sticky-sweet chili sauce recipe comes together in 5 minutes or less and can be added to anything from chicken, pork, prawns, or simple vegetables for a delicious spicy twist!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Sweet chili sauce
  • Splash rice wine vinegar
  • ½ Tablespoon granulated garlic or powdered garlic

Optional

  • 1 Red chili pepper finely chopped
  • 3 spring onions roughly chopped

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, and whisk to combine.

  • Turn the burner to medium heat. Bring to a simmer, and cook 2 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

  • Remove from the heat. If you're adding chopped chili and spring onions, add them now.

  • Drizzle over dish, or let cool and pour into jars to store in the refrigerator.
