Egg yolks Lemon juice Unsalted butter Cayenne pepper

It's rich and mild, with a silky texture and buttery flavor, with only 4 ingredients!

Flour Bowl

Whisk egg yolk and lemon juice together in a heatproof bowl. In a separate bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. 


Place the bowl with the egg mixture over a pan of simmering water without allowing the water to touch the bowl.


Whisk the melted butter into the egg and lemon mixture and stir until it thickens. Mix in the cayenne pepper.


Serve with anything of your preference and enjoy!
