Easy Creamy Mushroom Sauce

This is the perfect mushroom sauce for pasta, especially if you're against the clock and looking for a mouth-watering and crowd-pleasing recipe!

You will need...

Butter Onion Garlic Plain flour Mushrooms  White wine 2% milk Parmesan  Dijon mustard Creme Fraiche  Parsley


It's so easy!

This only uses one pan for easy clean-up and is ready in under 30 minutes!

Flour Bowl

Melt butter in a pan, then add garlic and onions and fry until soft. Add mushrooms and fry for 2 minutes.


Sprinkle in the flour and stir. Add white wine and scrape up any bits at the bottom.


As the wine thickens, begin adding the milk a little at a time while stirring continuously.


Stir and allow it to simmer for 2 minutes. When ready, add parmesan, dijon mustard, creme fraiche, and seasoning, then stir


Add extra parmesan and fresh parsley when serving. Serve with meal of choice, and enjoy!
